Chloe and Zoe are an adorable mother and daughter pair of Maltese. They belong to the Wilkinson family. Chloe is the Mom. She is a very sweet and loving girl. She loves to play with Zoe and the neighbor’s cat. She will cry at the door until someone lets the cat in so they can play. She also loves to play ball and do tricks. Zoe is a great little girl. She loves to play with Chloe, learn new tricks and play with her fluffy monkey. When she hears the garage door open she will dance around on her hind legs until someone comes in the door and picks her up and gives her loves. Chloe and Zoe are great family pets.

Molly and Penny are sweet girls that belong to the Henderson family. Molly is the sweetest little American Eskimo. Her tail is always wagging when she comes in the door. Her favorite place to sleep in on the bed and she loves to play with her old stuffed ball. She also enjoys letting the family know when anybody approaches the house. Her best friend is Penny. Penny is a cute little Shih Tzu mix that has the cutest face. Penny’s favorite activity is to escape. If she can find a way out, off she’ll go. She also loves to be chased around the backyard. Her best friend is her sister Molly. Penny and Molly are both great dogs who are great additions to their family. We love to have them visit us at Precious Pet Paradise

Harley is a very handsome black and tan cocker. He belongs to the Radley family. He is a great family dog. He likes to play with balls and listen to stories with his family while he takes his nap in his comfy basket. His favorite person is his Mom. The Radleys adopted Harley from the Lost Paws Rescue when he was 18 months old. They made a great choice, he has been a important member of the family ever since.

Duke is a handsome elderly Golden Retriever. He belongs to The Trojan family from Lehi. Duke was adopted at the age of three he is now nine years old. He has settled in well. Duke loves everything. But his most favorite things are his best friends Max and Hershey, he loves to play with stuffed animals and watch TV. He sleeps in the bedroom and loves to go for walks. He understands very thing he is told. He enjoys meeting new people and new pets even kittys. We enjoy having Duke visit us for his grooming.

Smokee Anderson is a handsome Shorkie, (shihtzu/yorkie) he belongs to the Anderson family. Smokee is just a little boy he celebrated his first birthday in May. He likes to pass his time playing with his many toys, chewing a rawhide anything, dancing and giving kisses. His big trick is to play dead. His favorite person is Clair but he gets so sad when his “girls” go to school. He is the greeter when he meets other puppies. He just goes up to them and licks their nose and then wants to cuddle. Smokee is a sweet cuddly boy and we enjoy his visits. Congratulations .

This week’s pet of the week is Ellie Mae. She is a cute little Morkie.She belongs to the Astle Family. Ellie Mae is a sweet girl who likes to go on walks and eat yummy creamies. She likes to play with her friend Jasmine and her stuffed Santa toy. She will even sit and shake on command. She likes to watch TV with her family especially if there are animals on the TV once the animal leaves she gets bored and leaves. Ellie Mae is a much loved part of her family and we enjoy her visits to Precious Pet Paradise.

This week we have two Pets of the Week. NUTMEG & ROSCO! They are an unseparatable pair. So they will cover two weeks. Nutmeg and Roscoe are brother and sister. They are Bichon Poodles. Even though they are brother and sister they are totally different. Nutmeg is a princess. She is particular as to what toys she plays with and she loves getting groomed and beautiful and clean. She is a little high strung according to Rosco, who is all boy. He thinks dirtier is better and loves to play and tease Nutmeg. He thinks Nutmeg should just chill out and have fun. Although they are different they love to be together. We love having them visit us. Congratulations to Nutmeg and Rosco.

Charlie Hobush is a Shih Tzu/Poodle Mix and is parti colored, he’s quite the talented boy! He loves playing with anything wood, his favorite tricks are roll over, sit, lay down and Bang Bang. He’s more like a baby than a dog to his family; he gets sad when anyone leaves, he talks, and likes to lick everyones faces, he loves them all especially Penelope and Grandma! He gets to sleep anywhere he wants, he’s quite the lucky boy! He also loves to be outdoors. Congratulations to Charlie!

Maggie Demille is our newest Pet of the Week contest winner!
She is a Cocker Spaniel/Lhasa Alpso Mix who has a great personality and loves running through the house playing with her toys (She doesn’t have a favorite – there are too many to choose from!) She plays soccer with her family and pushes the ball all over the yard so they can kick it to her. Her best friend is her “Mom”. We enjoy when Maggie comes to visit us for her grooming, she’s been coming here since she was a puppy.

He loves to go camping and swimming in the pond, he loves to tease Hope and likes to pull her ears, he plays with her a lot and she helps with his anxiety issues and she helps him feel safe. He is quite talented- he can sit, shakes paw and can also dance. He sleeps on Mama’s (Patsy’s) bed. His favorite toy is a white stuffed kitty. Congratulations Kody!

Hope is a very cute Maltese/Shih Tzu Mix; she’s all white and has a sweet personality. When she was a puppy she had her picture in the Salt Lake Tribune, how’s that for famous! She loves playing with her squeaky ball and going camping, she also plays dead, fetches and is a great dancer. Her BFF is Papa and she sleeps under the bed with him. She’s been coming here for years to get groomed and we look forward to her visits, congratulations Hope!

Our new pet of the week is “Lala” a cute little Bichon. She is owned and loved by Mike and Julayne Murphy. She is two years old and loves everyone she meets. She likes to play with her canvas ball or she’ll do anything for a piece of chicken. She also likes to come to Precious pet paradise for a day at the spa. She knows she looks good when she leaves.
When they first brought Lala home they didn’t want her to cry, so they let her sleep with them. In the morning they woke up to find her sitting on top of them staring down looking at them like “who are you are you food or friend/”. Lala is a sweet girl who is very much loved. Congratulations, We love Lala.

Bumble’s best friend is my mom’s Shih Tzu/Maltese mix named Boomer. They always get so excited to see each other and play. About 8 weeks ago, we were over at my mom’s house for dinner. Bumble had just finished her heat about a week before and we really didn’t think this would be an issue at all. They had never shown any “romantic” interest in one another before. In the middle of dinner, I looked down under the table just in time to see that these two dogs were much more than “friends.” We startled them enough to interrupt their romantic endeavors; however, they remained stuck together with this guilty teenager-caught-in-the-act look on their little faces. We left that night thinking that there was no way that their little escapade could have possibly been long enough to make puppies—it was way to traumatic for the both of them. Sadly, the very next day Boomer went missing out of the yard and has not been seen since. My mom and our family, especially Bumble, have been left heartbroken about his disappearance. Ironically however, Bumble is expecting Boomer’s five puppies this upcoming Friday, one of which will be my mom’s future puppy! There really is a reason for everything! Thanks for helping to prepare Bumble for having her puppies!

Skippy Wells has been chosen has this week’s Pet of The Week. Skippy is a Toy poodle owned by the Wells Family. Skippy is a shy little guy, but very loveable.
He likes to follow his mom all around the house from room to room as she goes about her day. When dad comes home from work he goes crazy and runs around and around the couch. His other favorite pastime is playing catch and playing with his stuffed shark and rubber bone. Do not try to scratch Skippy’s ears he does not like his ears touched. After a busy day of running around you can find Skippy sound asleep on his blanket in the family room. Skippy is a great dog who loves his family. We enjoy having Skippy visit for his grooming. This Week’s winner for pet of the week is Alexis, a sweet little Japanese Chin. She is owned and very much loved by Toni and Ron Jorgensen. Alexis is a sweet little girl who comes to Precious Pet Paradise for daycare on a regular basis She likes coming to daycare and playing with lots of puppy friends and then sitting on the counter and getting loved by all the customers.
Besides daycare and playing with her puppy friends, Alexis likes to be at home playing with her Kitty friend who lives next door. She loves her kitty friend so much she tells Toni and Ron to feed the cat. Alexis also loves to go for walks and hide her treats all over the house. She runs the house and will let you know if she is unhappy or something is not going her way. She really doesn’t care for loud noises, or the rain. She sulks on Wednesdays because it’s bath day. Rudy is a wonderful family member. He was the “first child” so his nick name is “Dog faced brother. His favorite pastimes are just hanging with his family and playing with his squeaky stuffed bear. He likes hiking and snoozing on the floor next to them. He also likes to give passerbys a furry high five.

Steinerhaus ‘BEAR’ II Turner is a 10 month old Bouvier De Flanders. Bear is a fun loving big boy. He enjoys playing soccer. Keeping the kitchen floor free of crumbs and playing with his best pal 2year old William.
When bear naps he likes to sleep Superman style. He spreads out on his belly with all his legs sticking out. He also has mastered the army crawl except that he stands on his hind legs and crawls. Bear is a lot of fun and has brought great joy to his family. Congratulations Turner Family.

Chihuahua. Lilly is quite a girlie girl. She does not allow her little feet to touch snow. She is also very picky about who she lets trim her nails. She has given the staff at Precious Pet Paradise the privilege of being her manicurist.
Lilly is all about having fun. Her sister and her like to run up and down the hall chasing each other. She also enjoys going for walks so she can sniff every square inch, sunbathing on the porch, and gazing out the window people watching. She has been known to help herself to an unwatched dinner plate. But, her favorite game is to play with her favorite toy monkey. Has soon as mom stuffs it and gives it a new face Lilly turns it back into a brown rag . She sits in a pile of white fluff with a big smile on her face. Lilly loves to chew on bones. But, don’t even try to share it. Lilly does not share bones or the pillow she steals from you. But, she is a very smart girl. She knows if she’s done something wrong and will go to her time out spot on her own and will stay there until she has fulfilled her time.
