DayCare

We help busy families enjoy their dogs by assisting in training and exercising.

Socialization is very important to canine development at a young age but can be challenging for the busy owner. Social play with our small group of healthy and exercised dogs that is supervised by our Certified Pet Care Technician daycare attendant is a safe way to develop healthy social behaviors.

Puppies working on house training are best crate trained. But caged dogs need to be taken out every 4 to 5 hours. This is impossible for many working households. Crate training is part of the routine at our doggy daycare.

Dogs are board all day with nothing to do. Sometimes they become destructive or they are full of energy when the family gets home. Day care dogs have one-on-one 30 minute walks that may also include leash training.

Precious Pet Paradise is different then other doggy daycares because we are a
Smaller Size, have Structure to our day that includes Training.

Precious Pet Paradise offers a more enriching and educational experience by Downsizing. This allows our staff more time with each dog and less time managing of inappropriate behaviors making us a safer daycare.

We serve five to ten dogs a day in our 800 sq ft play room. Our quality of service both to your dog and you is increased.

Structured doggy daycare includes rest breaks without harassment. We offer morning play, rest time, and individual training and play in the after noon. We interrupt play every few minutes which helps keep arousal levels in check. Dogs go home tired and satisfied, but not completely exhausted.

Our structure causes a major shift in focus, naturally moving from control and management to training, enrichment, and behavior modification. We focus on Behavior and Development.

Crate training is part of the routine. They learn to “kennel up” on command.

With fewer dogs we are better able to practice commands like sit, come, wait, and leave it.

Nope, we don’t have an outdoor play area. Our dogs are taken for walks several times a day where we practice loose leash walking.

All dogs 4 months or older.  Vaccines must have up-to-date vaccinations.
*Owners bring Bordatella and Rabies paperwork.

HEALTH: All dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dogs(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition within the last 10 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition, which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.

BEHAVIOR: All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective.
Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s).
Please remember: your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health
of all animals is our main concern.

Evaluation: Call us to review you and your pet’s needs. We'll ask you a few questions over the phone and set up an evaluation ($10 non-refundable). During the evaluation we will take your pet in for a few hours. We introduce your pet to the play room and daycare attendant. We observe his reaction and slowly introduce one new dog at a time. As long as your pet is doing well, he can stay for a half day of daycare activities.
