• Bath And Brush: This is our full service bath listed above plus trimmings that vary by breed but in general includes trimming around the feet, eyes, and sanitary area.

• Smoothie is a short haircut: A #4 Blade body and shorter (#5, #7 etc.) all with the option of styled head, ears, and tail.

• Stylized legs: This is a bladed body with scissored legs or skirt. Often Poodles, Schnauzers, Cocker Spaniels or Bichons receive the bladed body with scissored legs or skirts.
  This also includes a "between smoothie and fluffy cut." A #3-3/4 Body to #3/4 GB body; category varies on the way the hair cuts and time needed.

• Fluffy cut: This is just under one inch long and up to any length longer that is a full body scissor. (#3/4 GB through Full body scissor)  Pattern depends on breed.

• Carding & Hand-stripping gives a natural look:
• Carding is removing dead coat from the skin prior to shedding. 
• Hand-stripping is a technique which the outer guard coat is plucked to promote good coat texture and color.
  

• The FURminator® is a process of removing the excess undercoat:
• We start with the FURminator solution in the bath and scrub it in good, then in the blowdrying process the undercoat starts to come out. Then we take the FURminator tool and work through the coat, paying special attention to common shedding areas.

• Additional charges may apply:
• Brushing or shaving tangles and mats take extra time and care and can cost more based on the extra time and care it may take to remove the mats.
• Excess fecal mater stuck around a pet's rear may cost more to remove.
• If a pet needs extra time and care to ensure he or she feels happy and safe during the grooming processes, the grooming may be divided into several visits and can cost more.
• Higher risk pets; including: un-vaccinated puppies, elderly, disabled, or
  hostile animals should be scheduled on a week day at 8 am for the best care possible.
• The care of the animal always comes first.  If the groomer finds the grooming request might put the animals or her health and safety at risk, the requested service may be refused.
